Accelerate your IDE ports with the new FastATA 1200 MK-V for your Amiga 1200 desktop¹ or A1200 Tower.
The FastATA MK-IV controller with its maximum transfer rate of 16.6MB/s in the PIO 5 mode offers huge capacity reserve for fast mass storage devices, especially for fast hard drives. Therefore, applications may run much faster if they can have fast access to large data files.
New ATA3.driver 10.0 and ATA3Prefs 10.0 software supplied on floppy disk. Driver compatible with AmigaOS 3.0, 3.1, 3.5 and 3.9. Native support for this product is supplied in AmigaOS 4.1 Classic.
Support for ATAPI standard devices such as CDROMs and DVDROMs with latest AllegroCDFS included
Two buffered and terminated EIDE ports
Can be optionally supplied with SATA and CF adapters
Fully compatible with HDDs of over 4GB

¹ Standard Amiga 1200 desktops will require the upper RF shielding to be removed so that the FastATA 1200 MK-IV can be installed. Desktop A1200s with the optional SATA/IDE adapter will also need a Floppy Y Splitter Power Cable
