44-pin Male to 40-pin Male IDE Adapter Converter.
 
This useful adapter board converts 44-pin IDE cables to 40-pin IDE. It will convert from 40-pin to 44-pin also.
 
If you have a 2.5" IDE hard drive interface you can add a 40-pin cable to add up to two extra 3.5" devices. Alternatively you can connect 2.5" IDE devices to a 40-pin IDE cable.
 
The 4-pin power connector is useful for powering IDE devices.
 
IDE Disk On Module Power Support
A two-pin DOM jumper is included to apply extra power - do not use this unless your DOM supports this feature. Other IDE devices will not be compatible so the jumper must not be applied with those.
