This service is for the AmigaKit Technicians to replace aged, vented or leaking capacitors which can corrode your Amiga motherboard.
 
Leaking capacitors can cause a range of serious problems. Some of the many faults associated with capacitor leakage include:
 
■ Failure to boot
■ Graphics glitches and screen corruption
■ Sound corruption
■ Mouse, Joystick and other ports not working
■ IDE hard drive not booting
■ Power issues
■ Random crashing and system instability
 
Choose between two different types of capacitor in the product options. The Standard option is the same type of capacitor that Commodore originally used on the motherboards although AmigaKit supplies branded high quality capacitors. The Polymer option are capacitors consisting of solid conductive polymer electrolyte. The advantage of Polymer capacitors is that they cannot leak as they age over the years/decades.
