The male header has 2 rows of 22-pin gold contacts (44-pins in total). It is through hole for soldering into the Amiga 1200 or 600 motherboard at location CN16.

A1200 / A600 Internal IDE Box Header 44 pin CN16 which is the same specification but has a box around the pins to protect them to help protect them from being bent when cables are connected/disconnected.
Ideal for replacement of a broken IDE socket. Requires soldering directly on the motherboard PCB after removal of old socket.
